HIRING OF SUPERVISORS

Whenever a vacancy occurs in the position of a supervisor or higher level position, and when the Superintendent has narrowed his choices to preferably no less than three candidates, the Superintendent, in conjunction with the Board president, shall arrange to conduct a final set of interviews with the Board in executive session at an appropriately called meeting, and at the appropriate time, the Superintendent shall have the responsibility of recommending the candidate of his choice, and at the appropriate time, in open session, the Board shall vote either to accept or not accept the Superintendent's recommendation, and should the Board vote not to accept the Superintendent's recommendation, the Superintendent shall have the responsibility to recommend another candidate of his choice. This policy includes all supervisory positions including non-certificated.
