The policy-making body for the School System is a board of 15 members, elected from single-member districts to four-year terms of office. Terms of office begin in January following election. The Board meets as a Committee As A Whole twice during the month and holds a regular meeting once each month to take action on Committee As A Whole recommendations. The Board meets in Special Session as needed during the course of the year.
