The vision of the St. Tammany Parish School System Employee Wellness Program is to help System employees achieve healthier, more productive lifestyles.

The purpose of the St. Tammany Parish School System Employee Wellness Program is to improve the health and well-being of System employees, reduce absenteeism, and encourage high-quality performance by:

  • encouraging employees to adopt healthier lifestyles;
  • providing a wide range of health assistance programs for employees;
  • recognizing employees and schools for decreasing employee absenteeism caused by health problems; and
  • developing a culture throughout the System that enhances the quality of life for all employees and recognizes.

 

Employee Assistance Program

The St. Tammany Parish School System offers its employees who may be in need of professional assistance due to personal problems, alcohol or chemical dependency, depression, or other related concerns may contact the Employee Assistance Program. Contact telephone numbers are 1-800-256-1575 or 1-504-832-1170.

Other information may be obtained by visiting www.EAPWebsite.com and entering the initials “stpsb” as the password to enter the Web site. Be assured that contacting the Employee Assistance Program telephone number is private and confidential and that no information is relayed to the St. Tammany Parish School System. and celebrates the value of a healthy lifestyle.
